Nova Oval

Nova Oval is a display font with a rounded, oval-influenced appearance that can bring a friendly decorative note to short text. Its single regular weight keeps the family focused, making it most useful where the lettering itself helps set the mood rather than carry large amounts of information.

Best suited for: Use Nova Oval for headlines, poster titles, event graphics, labels, badges, invitations, and other brief messages that benefit from a noticeable display treatment. It may also work for small branding details or playful editorial accents, provided the wording remains short and easy to read.

Design considerations: Only a regular weight and normal style are available, so there is no built-in light, bold, italic, or weight contrast for hierarchy. Keep Nova Oval at display sizes and use spacing, size, or layout to separate levels of information. For longer passages or dense supporting copy, a more text-oriented companion may provide clearer reading.

Pairing guidance: Balance its rounded display character with a restrained sans serif or a quiet serif in regular and medium weights. Look for a companion with simple forms, dependable spacing, and enough contrast to keep secondary information from competing with the headline. The supplied subsets are Latin and Latin-ext.
