Baloo Tamma 2

Baloo Tamma 2 is a display typeface with a friendly, rounded character and a clear sense of scale. Its broad weight range makes it suitable for expressive headings, labels, and other moments where text needs to attract attention. It is available in normal style and includes Kannada, Latin, Latin Extended, and Vietnamese subsets.

Best suited for: Use Baloo Tamma 2 for posters, event titles, packaging, social graphics, app headings, and short navigation labels. Its display classification makes it better suited to brief, prominent text than long paragraphs. The heavier weights can help a title hold its place in busy layouts, while lighter options can keep smaller display text more open.

Design considerations: The five weights, from 400 through 800, provide room to establish hierarchy without changing families. Try regular or medium weights for supporting labels, then move to semibold, bold, or extra-bold for stronger emphasis. Because it has a rounded display character, check spacing and line breaks carefully, especially when using larger sizes or compact headlines.

Pairing guidance: Balance its distinctive display presence with a restrained sans-serif for supporting copy, captions, or interface text. A neutral text face with simple shapes can give the layout needed contrast without competing for attention. For a softer result, pair it with another approachable sans-serif, keeping the companion lighter and less decorative.
