About this font

Bitcount is a display font with a broad range of weights, from 100 through 900. Its variable format allows gradual adjustment across that range, giving headings, labels, and short featured text room to shift from light to heavy. The single normal style keeps its use focused on upright display work.

Best suited for: Use Bitcount for posters, event graphics, campaign titles, packaging details, social media artwork, and short interface headings that need clear visual emphasis. Its display classification suggests keeping text brief, especially at heavier settings. Try lighter weights for larger statements and stronger weights for compact, high-contrast labels.

Design considerations: The nine available weights make hierarchy easy to build within one family. Set a large title in a lighter or medium position, then move toward heavier values for subheads or small callouts. Because Bitcount is available only in a normal style, rely on size, weight, spacing, and color rather than italic contrast. Test dense settings carefully before using them in longer lines.

Pairing guidance: For supporting text, choose a restrained sans serif or a readable serif with calm proportions. A neutral companion can keep Bitcount’s display role prominent, while a modestly contrasting text face can separate titles from explanations. Match the pairing to the project’s scale, and limit the number of competing weights in a compact layout.
