Edu SA Hand

Edu SA Hand is a handwriting font with a casual, personal feel. Its single normal style and range of four weights make it suitable for moments that benefit from a written, informal character rather than a formal typographic tone. The variable format may also allow more gradual weight adjustments where supported.

Best suited for: Use it for friendly headings, short notes, classroom materials, invitations, labels, captions, and informal branding. It can add a handwritten touch to posters or social graphics, while shorter text is likely to keep its character clearer and easier to follow.

Design considerations: The 400 weight offers a lighter starting point for compact text and understated headings. Weights 500 and 600 can give titles and callouts more emphasis, while 700 creates the strongest visual presence. Since the family has only a normal style, use size, spacing, and weight to establish hierarchy.

Pairing guidance: Balance Edu SA Hand with a clean sans serif for supporting text, captions, navigation, or longer paragraphs. A restrained serif can also provide useful contrast in editorial layouts. Keep the companion face calm and highly legible, and let Edu SA Hand handle the shorter, more expressive moments.
