About this font

Teachers is a sans-serif font family with a broad range of weights and both normal and italic styles. Its flexible structure makes it suitable for clear, contemporary type settings where text needs to remain readable while headings can carry extra emphasis. The variable format may also allow more gradual weight adjustments, depending on the design tool.

Best suited for: Use Teachers for articles, educational materials, websites, interface text, and presentation content. The regular weights can support paragraphs and labels, while heavier settings can distinguish headings, section titles, navigation, or short calls to action. Italics add another level of emphasis for notes, references, or selected phrases.

Design considerations: The five supplied weights, from 400 through 800, give you room to build hierarchy without changing families. Start with 400 or 500 for longer reading, then reserve 600–800 for headings and key interface elements. Normal and italic styles can separate emphasis clearly, while the variable version may help fine-tune contrast between levels.

Pairing guidance: To complement Teachers, try a serif with a calm, readable texture for longer passages or editorial contrast. Alternatively, pair it with a restrained sans-serif from a different construction for supporting labels and utility text. Keep the secondary face quieter, and let differences in width, stroke character, or spacing establish hierarchy without competing for attention.
