About this font

Trykker is a serif font with a single regular weight and a normal style. Its serif construction can bring a traditional, editorial feel to text, while the limited style range keeps the family focused and easy to manage. It may work well where readable, composed typography is more important than extensive formatting options.

Best suited for: Trykker can fit book excerpts, article layouts, cultural or historical material, invitations, short printed notes, and restrained website headings. Use it for paragraphs or display text when a classic serif appearance suits the subject. Its regular weight is most useful for designs that do not require multiple levels of emphasis.

Design considerations: Because Trykker is supplied only at weight 400 and in a normal style, plan hierarchy through size, spacing, placement, and surrounding whitespace rather than relying on bold or italic variants. Keep body text at a comfortable size and line height, and test longer passages at the intended output size. The Latin and Latin-ext subsets are supplied.

Pairing guidance: For contrast, pair Trykker with a clean sans-serif for navigation, labels, captions, or supporting information. A restrained sans-serif can help separate functional text from the serif’s more traditional texture. If you prefer a quieter result, use another serif with simpler details and clearly different proportions, while keeping the overall number of typefaces limited.
