About this font

Wallpoet is a display font with a single regular weight and normal style. Its role is best understood as attention-focused typography for short text, where the lettering can help set a distinct mood without carrying large amounts of information. Use it when a title, label, or brief message needs more character than ordinary reading text.

Best suited for: Try Wallpoet for posters, event titles, album or project artwork, packaging accents, short headings, and compact promotional graphics. It may also work for logos or badges when the wording is brief and the design gives the letters enough room. Keep longer paragraphs and detailed interface copy in a more text-oriented font.

Design considerations: With one available weight, Wallpoet offers no built-in light-to-bold range for creating hierarchy within the family. Establish contrast through size, spacing, placement, color, or a companion typeface instead. Its normal style also means emphasis will need to come from layout or another font. Test short words and headlines at their intended size before committing to a larger composition.

Pairing guidance: For supporting text, look to a calm sans serif or a readable serif with restrained shapes. A neutral companion can keep captions, descriptions, and navigation easy to scan while Wallpoet handles the display role. Choose contrasting proportions and avoid another highly decorative face, especially when both fonts would compete for attention.
